Arik Air Partners Actors Guild For 2024 Award Night
Arik Air is partnering with the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Delta State Chapter as the official airline sponsor for its forthcoming 2024 award night.
A statement by Mr. Adebanji Ola, the Spokesman of Arik Air, said that the event is scheduled to hold on Saturday, November 30, 2024 in Asaba, Delta state.
As part of its commitment to supporting the Nigerian arts and entertainment industry, Arik Air said it would be sponsoring 20 out of the available 60 award categories up for grabs at the award night.
The AGN award night is a pinnacle celebration of excellence in the Nigeria film industry, recognising the achievements of actors, directors, producers and other creatives who continue to shape and elevate Nollywood on the global stage.
The statement quoted Ailemen Arumemi-Johnson, Head of Commercial, Arik Air said the airline was proud to support the AGN award night.
He stated that this further reinforced the airline’s dedication to fostering the growth and recognition of Nollywood, which is Africa’s largest film industry.
He said: “Nollywood is a major part of Nigeria’s economy employing more than a million people directly or indirectly. Arik Air’s support for the industry is thus, so strategic and resonates with the airline’s Corporate Social Responsibility.”
The 2024 AGN award night promises to be a star studded affair, bringing together some of the biggest names in the industry and key stakeholders in the entertainment sector, the statement added.
