Travel Inn Launches Booking Portal with Exclusive Services and Green Tourism Focus
A new player in Nigeria’s travel industry, Travel Inn Booking Portal, has officially launched in Lagos, bringing innovative offerings and a strong commitment to sustainable tourism. The platform, which promises to simplify travel arrangements for air passengers and tourists, has already attracted attention for its unique services, including an exclusive airport drop-off service for international clients.
The unveiling event, held recently in Lagos, showcased the platform’s potential to redefine the travel booking experience in Nigeria. Speaking at the launch, Oma Nnorom, Founder of Travel Inn Booking, highlighted the portal’s distinctive offerings. She emphasized that the free airport drop-off service for international travelers sets the platform apart from other booking portals in the market. This feature, she noted, is designed to enhance convenience for clients and introduce a new level of competition in the travel sector.
“Today, we have launched our travel flight booking portal where our clients can book flights on the go and make payments seamlessly. We are offering exclusive airport drop-off services for international travelers as part of our commitment to making travel stress-free,” Nnorom stated. She added, “We are also promoting our green project, a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative that focuses on sustainable tourism. While promoting tourism, we must also ensure its sustainability by raising awareness about ocean cleanups and recycling initiatives.”
Industry experts have applauded the launch, describing the platform as a game-changer. Aviation professional Alhaji Nuhu Adam commended the platform’s integration of travel, tourism, and environmental responsibility, calling it a “complete package.” He highlighted the company’s plans to collaborate with the Lagos State Government to further environmental awareness initiatives. Adam also urged state governments to begin green awareness campaigns at the grassroots level, particularly in primary schools, to instill sustainable practices among younger generations.
Environmental Scientist Prof. Evidence Akhayere added to the conversation, underscoring the urgent need for better waste management practices, especially regarding plastics. He lamented the lack of government-led awareness campaigns about the environmental hazards posed by plastics. “Bottles and plastics remain a huge threat to the environment, and they do not decompose. If we cannot dispose of them properly, we should stop using them,” he said. Akhayere’s comments align with Travel Inn’s efforts to advocate for eco-friendly tourism practices in Nigeria.
The launch event also featured insights from Tayo Orisdare, Managing Director of Metro Aviation, who stressed the importance of general aviation in enhancing tourism. He highlighted how general aviation, which includes private and chartered flights, plays a crucial role in accessing remote areas and boosting high-value tourism. “General aviation offers about 4.2 million jobs globally, and over 40,000 aircraft are involved in this sector. For Nigeria to unlock its tourism potential, we need to improve infrastructure to enable general aviation to thrive,” Orisdare noted.
Additionally, Toni Ukachukwu, Publisher of Aviators Africa, emphasized the importance of sustainable tourism practices. Speaking on the topic “Sustainable Tourism and Environmental Responsibility,” Ukachukwu urged Nigerians to adopt sustainable habits at home and explore eco-tourism as a way to promote responsible tourism. He added that eco-tourism could significantly enhance Nigeria’s reputation as a global travel destination while preserving its natural resources.
Travel Inn’s entry into the market comes at a time when the demand for seamless travel experiences and sustainable tourism is on the rise. With its unique offerings, including flight bookings, free airport drop-offs, and a focus on environmental responsibility, the platform is poised to become a leader in Nigeria’s travel industry. For African travel agents, Travel Inn presents an opportunity to attract eco-conscious travelers and those seeking convenience in their travel arrangements.
By integrating sustainability into its business model, Travel Inn not only sets itself apart but also aligns with global trends in tourism, where environmental responsibility is becoming a key consideration for travelers. This launch signals a new era for Nigeria’s travel and tourism industry, with a platform that prioritizes customer convenience and environmental consciousness in equal measure.
