These strategic moves are set to enhance connectivity across the continent and beyond, opening up new avenues for both business and leisure travel.

Casablanca, Royal Air Maroc's main hub, will serve as the central connection point for these expanded routes. The airline is resuming services to N'Djamena (Chad), Zurich (Switzerland), and Munich (Germany). These routes were previously suspended but are now being reinstated due to growing demand and the airline's commitment to strengthening its international presence. In addition to these resumptions, Royal Air Maroc is launching a brand-new route to Sal Island in Cape Verde, a highly sought-after tourist destination known for its pristine beaches and vibrant culture.

The relaunched routes to N'Djamena, Zurich, and Munich will be operational between September and October 2025. The N'Djamena and Zurich routes will commence in September, while the Munich route will begin in October. These routes will be serviced by Boeing 737-800 aircraft, known for their comfort and reliability. The new Sal Island route, also launching in September 2025, will provide travelers with direct access to this increasingly popular destination. This route will be operated by either a Boeing 737-800 or an Embraer E190, depending on demand and operational requirements.

N'Djamena, the capital of Chad, offers a unique blend of African culture and history. Travelers can explore local markets, visit historical sites, and experience the vibrant atmosphere of this bustling city. Zurich, a global financial hub, provides a sophisticated urban experience with world-class shopping, dining, and cultural attractions. Munich, the capital of Bavaria, is renowned for its rich history, stunning architecture, and lively beer gardens. These three European cities offer diverse experiences for travelers, catering to a wide range of interests.

Sal Island, the newest addition to Royal Air Maroc's network, is a tropical paradise in Cape Verde. Known for its breathtaking beaches, crystal-clear waters, and year-round sunshine, Sal Island is a perfect destination for beach lovers and water sports enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy swimming, sunbathing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and diving in this idyllic setting. The island also offers cultural experiences, with local markets, restaurants, and bars showcasing the unique Cape Verdean way of life.

These route expansions by Royal Air Maroc present excellent opportunities for African travel agents to curate attractive travel packages for their clients. The seamless connections through the Casablanca hub, combined with the diverse range of destinations, provide flexibility and convenience for travelers. Whether it's a business trip to Europe, a cultural exploration of Chad, or a relaxing beach vacation in Cape Verde, these new routes offer something for everyone.
