Fastjet to suspend ops in Mozambique

Yesterday, on October 26th, Fastjet Mozambique closed down its operations into Mozambique, which also includes all Code-Share flights with its partner LAM Mozambique Airlines. The suspension comes almost two years after Fastjet Mozambique started operation under a Mozambiquanian AOC.

The competition in Mozambique had increased significantly with the entry of Ethiopian Airlines as a domestic carrier end of 2018. The carraier said the shut down would not effect its services into Zimbabwe between Harare, Bulawayo, Johannesburg and Victoria Falls.
