Lufthansa stops serving second hot meal on long distance

Lufthansa is about to change the meal concept on laughaul flights.

As of 28th of November the second warm meal will be replaced by a cold sandwich. Reports from media have been confirmed in the meantime by Lufthansa. The first warm meal, containing the choise of two diferent meals will remain part of the inflight service.

Lufthansa said they had tested the new concept on 80 flights before implementation and the passengers had reported they like the new concept as they are able to use the sandwich as a take-a-way.
