RIU Zanzibar opens refurbished

RIU Hotels & Resorts re-opend the newly refurbished hotel Riu Palace Zanzibar. The hotel is located in the far north of Unguja, which is the main island of the Zanzibar archipelago. The Riu Palace Zanzibar is less than one hour drive located from the airport and the capital, Zanzibar City.

RIU bought Riu Palace Zanzibar last year and with this renovation it was lifted up to the brand's standards. The hotel chain committed to a complete overhaul of the hotel, including a 100-room extension. The hotel will now have 200 perfectly equipped rooms, designed with subtle nods to the destination's flora and fauna, allowing guests to feel like they are deep in the jungle, but with all the comforts of a 5-star hotel.
