Air India back in Kenya after 10 years
Ten years of absence have ended last week: Air India operated its first scheduled flight into Nairobi. Coming from Mumbai, the aircraft carried 100 passengers on board.
Flights will operate now four (4) flights per week and is willing, as per customer demand, to increase the frequency. Of course Air India is connecting Kenya through their hub in Mumba to its network domestically, but also to its international destinations, mainly in Asia. For the Kenyan tourism industry, the inauguration of the Mumbai-Nairobi route is very important as the numbers of visitirs from India a rising every year and have reached almots 130,000 in the year 2018.
