Ewaso Nyiro River in Kenya floods hotels

The following hotels, located in Kenyan Samburu and Isiolo counties have been affected by floodwater followimng heavy downpour; Safari Lodge, Asnil Lodges, Larsens Camp, Elephant Bedroom and Sarova Shaba Lodges.

Samburu County Commissioner John Korir said last Tuesday all the staff and guests had been evacuated from the hotels and taken to safer areas.
