Updated: TK complies with Nigeria's requirements

As a reaction on the NCAA of Nigeria's ban to operate into Nigeria, Turkish Airlines has already taken action.

The flights from Instanbul into Abuja have seen an equippment change already this last weekend. Instead of operation with B737 the carrier send an Airbus A330 with more than 300 seats and a lot of more cargo space. Reason for the "show of force" between the governement of Nigeria and the Turkish flag carrier was the fact that "almost 85%" of the passengers arrived in Nigeria without their luggage.

Reports say, the situation must have been so bad that the governement had no other choice but to ban TK for ops in Nigeria, if the problem was not sorted.
