Transnet intends to revitalze Ghana Railroad

Ghana Railway Company Limited and Ghana Railway Development Authority have signed a contract with Transnet of South Africa in order to bring back full operation on Ghana’s narrow gauge between Takoradi and Tarkwa. This contract includes the rehabilitation and maintainance of the line the refurbishment of the existing wagon park, new rolling stock plus the joit operations and last but not least training.
