Codeshare agreement between American Airlines and Royal Air Maroc

Effective 26th of December 2019, the Codeshare agreement between Royal Air Maroc and American Airlines will give a lot of new options for travellers on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. First, American’s customers will be able to buy Royal Air Maroc flights to Casablanca, Morocco, which will provide seamless connecting service to Marrakech in Morocco.

The codeshare agreement will later be extended to additional cities across the African continent in early 2020. That would include i.g. destinations in Africa, including Abidjan, Accra, Lagos, Luanda and Monrovia.

The agreement will also give new options to Royal Air Maroc customers into new destinations throughout American’s domestic US-network.

American Airlines had previously announced they will have seasonal services to Casablanca as of June 4th 2020 as the only United States-based carrier with non-stop service to Morocco, which will be operated three times per week.
