SAA achieved high punctuality ranking

Global on time performance (OTP) for airlines is measured every year. SAA South African Airways has made it in 2019 into a top position of this ranking.

IATA considers all arrivals and departures within a time frame of 15 minutes versus schedule as punctual. As per this benchmark, SAA permormed an OTP of almost 86% across its network. With this, SAA has mad it on Top 4 of the Middle East and Africa mainline carriers and the leading carriere in regards to punctuality for the African continent.
