Mauritius: New cruise terminal under construction
Cruises are more and more important for sea facing countries in Africa. Mauritius, being a cruise destination (even to exchange passengers) since years saw itself forced to invest into new infrastructure.
The Mauritius Port Authority is currently building a 7,500 sq meter new cruise terminal at the Port Louis harbour. The capacity of this terminal will be 4,000 pax at the same time - reading for even the largest cruise ships on the market. The end of constructions is expetced in mid of 2020.
The terminal will be used for inter-island traffic as well.
