Etihad & easyJet sign partnership agreement

Etihad Airways, based in Abu Dhabi, announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with the British low-cost carrier easyJet.

The new partnership, effective with immedeate effect, will enable customers to purchase tickets through the easyJet worldwide website connecting the two carriers’ extensive destination networks, opening a new gateway for passengers to travel between Europe, Africa, the Azores and the United States - all destination which easyJet does not operate into.

From the African perspective, using Etihad as the first carrier via Abu Dhabi, passengers can connect into the extensive European network of easyJet.
