AIRLINK takes over SAA routes

Airlink, the privately-owned South African airline, will continue to operate services between Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth, Entebbe, Ndola and Luanda after 29 February 2020.

Business as usual, this is what Airlink communicates on all channles. And yes, this is basically true as there are no changes on the already published schedule. Further, Airlink has secured traffic rights to Luanda, Angola and will start flying this route already as of 29th of februar 2020.

However, on small detail will change: The airlines does not operate anylonger as a "Sub-contractor" of SAA. And another thing will change: As of 11th of Jun Airlink will not operate anylonger unter "SA8" flight number; this will change to Airlinks own unique "4Z" code.
