Ghana closes borders - AWA suspends interantional flights

The President of Ghana has ordered to close all borders for human traffic for the next 2 weeks. As a consequence, Africa World Airlines Limited will suspend all international flights scheduled to operate from 23MAR20 onwards. The last flights between Accra and Lagos, Abuja, Freetown and Monrovia are planned to operate on Sunday 22MAR20.

Domestic flights are not affected; AWA intends to continue operating domestic flights from Accra to Kumasi, Tamale, Takoradi and Wa.
