Proflight: Lusaka to Durban this September for US$99
PROFLIGHT has reduced airfares for the Lusaka-Durban route this September in an effort to afford cost-efficient service to its customers.
The special fare will see passengers flying the route for just US$99 one-way ticket excluding taxes and is targeted at people who are keen to experience a new adventure in both Lusaka and Durban.
In a statement, Proflight’s director of government and industry affairs captain Philip Lemba said the slashing of rates in is line with the company’s vision of offering affordable services. “This incredible promotion is part of Proflight’s vision to provide world-class aviation services and offer cost-efficient, reliable and friendly services to its customers,” he said. According to the company, the special is available for booking now and valid for travel in September 2018, when Durban and South Africa offer a raft of exciting events for all the family.
In the month of September Durban offers the annual Zulu Reed dance, a colourful and cultural celebration that promotes respect for young Zulu women; Dubane Spring Break, the all-day party taking place at Africa’s largest aquarium, and Durban Street Food Festival, three days of hedonistic fun marking the diverse cuisines available in this cosmopolitan city.
People can also catch the Royal Agricultural Show’s Garden Show in Pietermaritzburg from September 7-8: biggest garden show in Southern Africa. The distance between Lusaka and Durban is about 1,014 miles and takes about 2.5 hours with Proflight
This special provides passengers with an option to either experience Africa’s city of golden beaches (Durban) or head to Zambia’s capital Lusaka and beyond to Victoria Falls in Livingstone of the safaris of South Luangwa National park via the Mfuwe gateway.
Proflight added that it will begin offering a Sunday morning Ndola-Lusaka-Durban connection departing 06:45 out of Ndola, arriving in Durban at 10:40, this October. According to captain Lemba “There are limited seats available so book early, and allow flexibility of dates to avoid disappointment!”
