Juba now open for air traffic again Juba now open for air traffic again

Scheduled passenger flights have resumed from several destinations to Juba International Airport.

Besides Ethiopian Airlines from Addis Ababa are Egypt Air from Cairo and FlyDubai from Dubai back on the route as is Sudan’s Badr Airlines. South Sudan demands from passengers that they undergo a 14 day quarantine as well as produce a recent health certificate. Face masks must also be worn by arriving passengers.

It is expected that Kenya Airways and RwandAir will resume flights too when their relaunch international flights, which has been set for 01st of August. Uganda Airlines, which has been serving Juba twice a day before the pandemic, is still sidelined by their own government’s failure to announce a date when international scheduled passenger flights can resume to and from Entebbe.
