Air Senegal wants to densify its European network. According to Routes Online, the Senegalese national company plans to open from August 8, a line Dakar - Milan. Flight HC4017 will depart from Dakar Blaise Diagne International Airport at 1:00 p.m. and arrive in Milan-Malpensa at 8:50 p.m. On Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, it will take off at 1:00 am, and land at 8:50 am. On the same days, flight HC4018 will reverse the route, departing Italy at 10:20 am and arriving in Senegal at 2:35 pm. On Sunday, it will embark at 10:45 am, and disembark at 3:00 pm. The route will be operated by Airbus A319 with 12O seats (18 in business class and 102 in economy class).

With flights to Italy, Air Senegal will now serve four European cities, after Paris and Marseille in France, and Barcelona in Spain. After the forced break due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the resumption of flights to these three destinations is scheduled for August 2, 15 and 6 respectively.

Recall that in the meantime, the company reconnected with its regional network on July 17, with a flight to Abidjan in Ivory Coast. It has also resumed its domestic operations since June 20, with weekly connections between Dakar and Ziguinchor.
