Emirates also to Conakry and Dakar, targets more countries
Emirates adds Conakry and Dakar to its network.
Emirates has announced the resumption of its regular flights to Dakar in Senegal and Conakry in Guinea. As of September 3, the Emirati carrier will offer two weekly flights between its base in Dubai and the two West African capitals. The line will be operated without competition in a Boeing 777-300ER which can accommodate up to 360 passengers.
With the reopening of its two routes, Emirates brings to 8 its number of destinations in Africa (77 globally) since the relaunch of post covid-19 operations. It already links Addis Ababa, Dar Es Salaam, Khartoum, Tunis, Cairo and Nairobi.
According to data from Routes Online, the carrier should soon return to Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Algeria, Morocco, South Africa, Uganda, Angola, Zambia and Maurice. "Planned changes of operations are still possible, as they may be affected by various travel restrictions," the news site warns.
