To Victoria Falls for US$100
Fastjet Zimbabwe has announced a promotional fares campaign across its domestic routes, with going to Victoria Falls from Harare pegged at US$100. According to the airline, the promotional fares will kick in when it resumes domestic flights on the 21st of September.
The promotion resonates with the government’s decisions to open up the economy especially the tourism sector. The government also announced the opening of its skies to international airlines.
In a statement, Fastjet Zimbabwe said the promotion fares includes taxes and but are for one way trip. “With a renewed domestic network plan, the airline will recommence local flights, between Harare and Bulawayo, from 21 September 2020. And between Harare and Victoria Falls from 01 October 2020, with introductory promotional web fares, starting at US$100 one way, including taxes and free baggage allowances.
Fastjet added that the latest promotion is part of their commitment in support of Zimbabwe’s post COVID19 tourism recovery strategy. The airline acknowledges that flying in this period is different adding that they will strive to added value. “We expect that until we become familiar with the new travel norms, flying is likely to be slightly different. We, therefore, shall maintain our focus on adding value and peace of mind for customers, helping restore connectivity amongst our communities, contribute to the economic recovery of the country and of course, lift people’s spirits through the power of travel,” read the statement.
