Airlinks opens new regional routes
Airlink will operate flights between Johannesburg and Lubumbashi from November 30, and between Johannesburg and Dar es Salaam from December 1.
Airlink md and ceo, Rodger Foster, told Travel News that both routes would operate three times a week, but would be ramped up to daily services over time and as demand grew. The airline recently launched flights from Johannesburg to both Maputo and Windhoek.
Airlink is also in talks with three African carriers and two global carriers regarding new interline agreements.
The airline has already entered into interline agreements with Qatar Airways, Emirates, British Airways, KLM, Air France and United.
