Since the relaunch of its international flights in December 2020, Air Peace is gradually rebuilding its network. Boosted by the densification of its fleet, the Nigerian carrier returns to the West African sky. Air Peace will reopen its Lagos - Accra route on March 15.

According to the announcement made by the Nigerian private company on Tuesday, March 2, it will offer 1 daily flight between the Nigerian economic capital and the Ghanaian capital. In early February, the carrier also relaunched its route to the United Arab Emirates (Lagos - Sharjah - Dubai). Unfortunately, it closed it again on February 11, after the Emirati authorities closed their territory to Nigerian citizens. The corridor was supposed to be reopened on February 28, but the restrictive measures have been extended in the meantime. Nevertheless, the repatriation flights of Nigerians stranded in the Gulf power remain maintained.

However, Air Peace has still not rescheduled the resumption of its routes to Banjul, Freetown, Monrovia and Dakar. Its regional growth plan provides for the opening of routes to Douala, Lomé, Libreville and Niamey. Air Peace has been serving Johannesburg since last December. In the long haul, the company is eyeing London (United Kingdom), Mumbai (India), Tel Aviv (Israel), Houston and Atlanta (United States) and Guangzhou (China).

On January 27, an Embraer 195-E2. Its order book in this area includes 13 units, with purchase rights for 17 additional units. Air Peace, which already operates on a dozen domestic routes, has a fleet of around 20 planes, including 6 Embraer E145, assigned to its younger subsidiary Air Peace Hopper.
