Qatar Airways returns to Khartoum, operating on Dreamliner

Qatar Airways has announced the resumption of its flights to the Sudanese capital. From May 11, the Qatari carrier will offer 4 flights per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays) between Doha and Khartoum. The link will become daily from June 1. This route, operated without competition, will be operated by Boeing 787-8 configured with 22 seats in Business class and 232 seats in economy class.
“Sudan is a strategically important market for Qatar Airways. We are pleased to announce the resumption of services to Khartoum, allowing the Sudanese to take advantage of our vast international network in Asia, Australia, Europe and the United States through our hub”, commented the CEO of Qatar Airways Group., His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker. According to the schedule, flight QR1331 will depart Doha at 7.40 p.m. and land in Khartoum at 10.25 p.m. In the opposite direction, flight QR1332 will leave Sudanese soil at 1 a.m. to arrive in the Qatari capital at 5:25 a.m.
