SN opens three new routes into Africa
With the gradual lifting of travel restrictions and the intensification of current vaccination programs, the Belgian flagship is rethinking its African network for the upcoming summer season. By the end of the first half of the year, Brussels Airlines will have 18 destinations on the continent.
Next June, Brussels will add three new African destinations to its network: three Moroccan tourist cities. Nador and Tangier will join the network from June 26 and 27 respectively. Nador, in the northeast of the country, will be connected twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, while flights to Tangier will be operated on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Flights to Al Hoceima will be exclusively bookable through ML Tours.
In West Africa, East and Central, Brussels Airlines will gradually increase its flight frequencies from mid-June. Thus, it provides daily flights to Abidjan, Accra, Banjul, Dakar, Douala, Yaoundé, Kinshasa and Entebbe.
On the other hand, the services will remain unchanged for its services to Cotonou, Freetown, Monrovia, Lomé, Kigali, and Bujumbura. At the same time, Luanda (Angola) will join the Brussels Airlines network again after more than a year of absence. From June 15, the Angolan city will be served three times a week.
Across its network, the carrier is planning a total of 79 destinations by the summer.
