Kenya Airways returns to Milan after 30 years
Between 30 June and 30 September, Kenya Airways will serve this corridor with two weekly rotations on Wednesdays and Sundays. The route will be operated without competition by Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft with a capacity of 30 passengers in Business Class and 204 in Economy.
Kenya Airways had served Milan-Malpensa Airport until May 1991. Since then, the Lombardy capital had only charter flights, mainly operated by Neos and Blue Panorama, to Kenya. With this new connection, Kenya Airways hopes to take advantage of the peak summer season to boost business and leisure travel between Kenya and Italy. The East African nation is a popular tourist destination for Italians who love its national parks and coastal beaches. It should be recalled that it did not return to Rome, Italy until 2019, a service that had also been suspended since June 2012.
