TUI Cruises to homeport Mein Schiff 6 in Dubai for the 2021/22 season TUI Cruises to homeport Mein Schiff 6 in Dubai for the 2021/22 season

TUI Cruises will sail roundtrip cruises in the Arabian Gulf from Dubai aboard Mein Schiff 6 this coming winter cruise season. The German cruise line TUI will homeport Mein Schiff 6 in Dubai from October, 2021 until February, 2022, joining three other cruise lines sailing roundtrip from the city this season.

Mein Schiff 6 will sail her first cruise of the season from Dubai on October 24th, 2021, but will offer a somewhat unique itinerary from the city on October 31st, 2021.This 8-night cruise will be a one off, visiting Abu Dhabi, Sir Bani Yas Island and Khasab, while most other cruises from Dubai aboard Mein Schiff 6 will only visit Abu Dhabi, Muscat and Doha.

Alongside MSC Cruises, Mein Schiff 6 will be interporting between both Dubai and Doha during the season, meaning passengers can choose either as their embarkation and disembarkation port. Her Doha cruises will kick off on November 13th, 2021. Whether sailing from Doha or Dubai, she’ll sail the same itinerary, but will visit the ports in a different order.

From Doha, Mein Schiff 6 will cruise to Dubai (staying overnight), and Abu Dhabi, before arriving back in Doha. But on her Dubai cruises she’ll visit Abu Dhabi first and then Doha. No matter which port passengers choose as the homeport, the ship stays overnight in all three cities, providing a port-intensive, destination-focused itinerary.

In Dubai, passengers will be able to visit the Dubai Mall, the largest mall in the world, the Burj Khalifa, the tallest tower in the world, the Ski Dubai Park, the largest indoor ski-slope in the world, and more. It’s not all about the biggest and tallest though, Dubai also features the charming Heritage area along the waterfront of Dubai Creek, the Dubai Frame attraction, the Museum of the Future and plenty of other cultural and historical attractions.

Abu Dhabi meanwhile is the official political capital of the UAE and unofficial cultural capital, home to the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, and thrill-seeking stuff too, such as Ferrari World and Warner Brothers World on Yas Island. For a more slow and relaxing experience, you can also kayak around the Louvre at night, or amidst the beautiful Abu Dhabi Mangroves during the late afternoon.

Mein Schiff 6 will remain in the Arabian Gulf until February 28th, when she will cruise from Dubai to Antalya in Turkey. The 15-night repositioning will take her via the Red Sea and iconic Suez Canal, as well as the Jordanian port of Aqaba, the gateway to Petra.
