DRC: Pascal Kasongo Mwema is the new interim CEO of Congo Airways

New blood at the head of Congo Airways. On Wednesday 15 July, Commander Pascal Mwema Kasongo Mwenda was appointed to head the public carrier, replacing Désiré Balazire, who was suspended from his duties as a precautionary measure.

In office since May 2016, the boss of Congo Airways is paying the price for the conclusions of an audit carried out by the General Inspectorate of Finance (IGF) in several large public companies.
