Eswatini eases lockdown measures!
The Prime Minister of Eswatini, Cleopas Sipho Dlamini, today (16 September 2021) announced that Eswatini will move to "Adjusted Risk Level 2". Effective 17 September 2021, several eased Covid-19 restrictions will come into force. According to the Prime Minister, the new curfew in Eswatini will be from 21:00 to 04:00, shopping hours will be between 06:00 - 19:00 and restaurants will be allowed to operate until 20:00.
The sale of alcohol will allowed from Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 17:00 for home consumption only. Night clubs, night vigils and memorial services in Eswatini remain prohibited. All other measures as captured in "Risk Level 2" remain the same.
