Air France postpones launch of Maputo service
Air France has confirmed that its new scheduled flights to Maputo, Mozambique will start on December 2, and not at the end of October as originally planned. The route will be operated via Johannesburg where no passengers will disembark, as reported by Airspace Africa.
Air France has an extensive African network with the new Maputo connection bringing the total number of cities served to 43.
Wilson Tauro, country manager Southern Africa Air France-KLM, said, “The flights will connect to major cities in Europe and beyond, including destinations in Portugal, Brazil and Cuba that are historically popular destinations from Mozambique.”
