Tourism figures up in Kebili

The number of incoming tourists in the governorate of Kebili posted a 68.2% rise compared to 2020, said head of the local authority Mohamed Saiem.

The official on Monday indicated in a statement to TAP, that the number of tourists had reached since the beginning of 2021 until November 10, 40,232 against 23,924 during the same period in 2020.

The number of overnight stays in the region saw a 73.2% rise during the same period, with 50,866 overnight stays compared to 29,371 in 2020, the official said.
