Royal Air Maroc boosts capacity on its Casablanca - Bamako route
As the summer season approaches, Royal Air Maroc is reorganising its fleet deployment by focusing on its high-yield African services.
During the summer, Royal Air Maroc will increase its fleet by introducing the Boeing 787-800 on its route between Casablanca and Bamako in Morocco. The aircraft can accommodate up to 274 passengers, including 18 in business class.
Between 28 June and 9 September, two of the seven weekly flights [Tuesdays and Thursdays] will now be operated by Dreamliner, Aeroroutes said in its compilation.
The other days of the week will continue to be operated with its Boeing 737-800 fleet, configured with 12 seats in Business Class and 147 in Economy Class.
Overall, Royal Air Maroc plans to increase its African network to 25 routes with a 900,000 seat offer for the summer. Some 110 frequencies per week will be offered. Thus, the company expects to gradually recover the network it had on the continent before the Covid-19 crisis.
