Air Côte d'Ivoire opens a route to Guinea-Bissau
In ten years of existence, Air Côte d'Ivoire has built up a network of 24 destinations, mainly in West Africa. The Ivorian flag carrier continues to consolidate its network with the addition of Bissau.
Air Côte d'Ivoire now serves Guinea-Bissau. The Ivorian public carrier opened this Thursday 2 June 2022 a route between Abidjan and Bissau. It offers 3 weekly flights (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) between the Ivorian and Guinea-Bissau capitals, without competition.
Bissau thus becomes the 24th destination of Air Côte d'Ivoire.
Côte d'Ivoire becomes the 5th country connected to Guinea-Bissau, after Senegal (Air Senegal), Cape Verde (ASKY), Morocco (Royal Air Maroc) and Portugal (TAP Air Portugal).
Air Côte d'Ivoire, which is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary, operates a fleet of 9 aircraft (2 Airbus A319s, 3 A320s including one -Neo and 4 Dash 8-400s) with an average age of 7.5 years. Its order book also includes two A319neo aircraft.
