BOC Aviation has scored a major publicity coup with a new African customer: Ethiopian Airlines. As revealed on 27 September by NewsAero, the Singaporean lessor announced on Monday 30 October 2023 that it would be delivering a second-hand Boeing 737-800 under a lease to the Ethiopian national carrier, which has just repositioned it with its strategic partner, Asky Airlines.
