Nigeria now holds US$743 million in frozen airline funds

Preventing airlines from repatriating funds may seem like an easy way to replenish depleted coffers, but ultimately the local economy will pay dearly, says IATA. Over the years, Nigeria, the continent's largest economy, has emerged as one of the world's worst performers in blocking airline funds.
