Nigerian Travel Agents set to make a splash at WTM Nigerian Travel Agents set to make a splash at WTM

The National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA) is set to make a significant impact at the World Travel Market (WTM) 2024, scheduled for November 5-7.  With a strong contingent of members and a robust digital marketing strategy, NANTA aims to promote Nigerian cultural tourism to a global audience.

The Association has designed a striking electronic flyer, created by Public Relations Officer Mrs. Adeola Adewole, to showcase its participation at WTM.  The flyer features the NANTA logo and the WTM event logo, highlighting the association’s presence at the trade show.

NANTA members are encouraged to share the flyer on their social media platforms to increase visibility and attract potential clients.  In addition to the flyer, NANTA will be launching a series of hashtags to drive online engagement. These hashtags will target foreign trade opportunities interested in Nigeria’s cultural tourism market and will be used to reach global tourism groups and platforms.

Over a hundred NANTA members have already confirmed their participation at WTM, with many sharing their excitement on social media using the event hashtag.  The association’s efforts have caught the attention of the Reeds Exhibition, the organizers of WTM, who have encouraged participating individuals and nations to invite their friends and associates to join the event.

NANTA President Yinka Folami emphasized the association’s commitment to promoting Nigerian cultural tourism. “We believe it’s essential to support our country and its people,” he said. “By participating in WTM, we aim to showcase Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage and attract international visitors.”

Susan Akporiaye, the immediate past president of NANTA, expressed her enthusiasm for the association’s continued involvement in WTM. “This is a great opportunity for our members to network with industry professionals and promote Nigeria as a tourism destination,” she said.

Pastor (Mrs.) Chinyere Umeasiegbu, NANTA’s First National Deputy President, revealed that the number of members participating in WTM could reach an all-time high of 200. “We are determined to make a strong impression and attract visitors to our exhibition stand”.
