A representative from the company stated, “We take pride in bringing our cutting-edge technology to West Africa and contributing to Ghana’s vision of a modernized railway system. We look forward to exploring future opportunities to support infrastructure development across the region.” VAOB Group’s involvement as the project’s originator and financier reflects its commitment to fostering transformative initiatives within Ghana and beyond. The CEO of VAOB Group remarked, “This initiative exemplifies our mission to drive development through innovative partnerships. It’s an honor to collaborate with global leaders like Pesa SA to provide solutions that benefit communities and stimulate economic growth.” The inauguration of the DMU trains signifies more than just a technological upgrade; it represents a commitment to a future where improved transportation bolsters Ghana’s economic framework, empowers its citizens, and enhances international collaboration.
