Emirates Airlines has unveiled its latest Emirates World store in Cairo, Egypt, marking a significant expansion of its refreshed travel retail concept. Located at the luxurious 5A WaterWay complex, the store offers a premium, immersive experience for customers, blending smart technologies, expert travel consultants, and a showcase of the airline’s iconic products and services.

The store was inaugurated by Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, and Adil Al Ghaith, Senior Vice President Commercial Operations, Centre. The event was attended by Her Excellency Mariam Al Kaabi, UAE Ambassador to Egypt, Pilot Montaser Mana, Egypt’s Deputy Minister of Civil Aviation, and Amr Kady, CEO of the Egypt Tourism Authority, alongside other distinguished guests, trade partners, and media representatives.

Spanning 332m², the Emirates World Cairo store is designed to reflect the airline’s signature inflight experience, featuring a light and airy colour palette and an open-plan lounge-like environment. Visitors can explore a full-size replica of the Emirates A380 Onboard Lounge and a First Class suite display, offering a glimpse into the airline’s luxurious offerings.

The store is equipped with nine customer service counters, staffed by expert consultants who assist with travel planning, reservations, ticketing, and general inquiries. Cutting-edge smart technologies enhance the customer experience, including a selfie mirror that allows visitors to snap photos against scenic destination backdrops, inspiring travel ideas. Additionally, self-service kiosks provide a faster, more efficient service, minimizing wait times.

For nearly four decades, Emirates has been a steadfast partner in Egypt’s aviation, tourism, and trade sectors. Since its first flight to Cairo in 1986, the airline has flown over 10.6 million passengers to and from the city. Today, Emirates operates four daily flights to Cairo, further strengthening its presence in the region.

The Emirates World concept is part of the airline’s global strategy to elevate the travel retail experience. With plans to invest heavily in expanding this concept across its network, the Cairo store is the ninth Emirates World location worldwide and a testament to the airline’s commitment to Africa’s growing travel market.
