IATA suggests digital passport including vaccination data

Air travel should in future be carried out with a so-called "health passport".

According to its general manager Alexandre de Juniac, the umbrella organization IATA plans "to create a worldwide communication infrastructure that is able to securely manage, share and verify the test results and the identity of the passengers". The One ID personal data collection should serve as the technical basis. In addition to test data, information about an existing vaccination could also be recorded
