flynas to operate into the Seychelles this coming July flynas to operate into the Seychelles this coming July

After a rather timid first half of the year, flynas wants to get back on track for the rest of the year. The Saudi low-cost airline recently unveiled its list of 2021 summer services. This includes a dozen tourist markets.

Seychelles is reopening to the world. From July 1st, the Emirati low-cost carrier flynas will serve the archipelago from Jeddah three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The route will be operated without competition by Airbus A320neo.

For the Seychelles Minister of Tourism, the new route reflects the expansion of the island nation's air connectivity to tourism markets.  "With the arrival of the flynas on our shores, the Ministry of Tourism is looking forward to an increase in visitors from the Saudi region," he said. Ultimately, both countries (Seychelles and Saudi Arabia) also see this as an opportunity to develop and boost economic exchanges.

Once the flights become effective, the archipelago will become the third African country served by flynas. The low-cost airline already connects Khartoum in Sudan as well as the coastal cities of Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt.
