AIDA Cruises opens bookings for Dubai and Cape Town cruise seasons AIDA Cruises opens bookings for Dubai and Cape Town cruise seasons

AIDA Cruises has opened bookings for its 2022/23 cruise seasons in South Africa out of Cape Town and the Middle East out of Dubai. AIDA Cruises will be homeporting its largest and newest cruise ship AIDAcosma in Dubai for the 2022/23 season, while its smaller boutique cruise vessel AIDAmira, will homeport in Cape Town.

The cruise itineraries for both vessels match those planned for the coming 2021/22 cruise season, with AIDAnova, a sister ship to AIDAcosma, cruising from Dubai, and AIDAmira sailing from Cape Town.

The opening of bookings for its Middle East and South African cruise seasons was part of a wider roll out of AIDA’s 2022/23 winter cruise program, which includes voyages to the Caribbean, the Indian Ocean and Southeast Asia, as well as Northern Europe, the Mediterranean and Canary Islands.

Among the highlights is the first World Cruise aboard AIDAsol, which will sail a 117-day voyage in 2022 from Hamburg on October 26th, 2021, with port calls in South Africa along the way. From Hamburg, the ship will first set course for South America. After calls on the Canary Islands and the Cape Verde Islands, dream destinations such as Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Ushuaia and Chile await guests.

From there AIDAsol continues westward to Tahiti, Bora Bora, Tonga, Fiji, Vanuatu (Christmas), New Caledonia and Australia to Mauritius. Guests welcome the New Year against the magical backdrop of Sydney.

The last leg of the voyage takes guests aboard AIDAsol via La Reunion to South Africa and Namibia. On the way back to Europe, travellers visit Tenerife and Madeira. The voyage continues via Lisbon and Cherbourg/France, to Hamburg, where it ends on February 20, 2023.

AIDAdiva, AIDAluna and AIDAperla will be cruising in the Caribbean, while AIDAblu offers voyages in the Indian Ocean on seven dates with stops in Mauritius, Seychelles, La Reunión and Madagascar.

AIDAvita will cruise longer voyages roundtrip from Hamburg to the Caribbean, along with separate itineraries from Hamburg to the Canary Islands. From February, AIDAsol will be cruising in Norway. And in November, March and April, AIDAprima will sail roundtrip in Northern Europe from Hamburg. AIDAbella is heading for the sun in Asia in the winter. From Bangkok, voyages are offered to Malaysia, Singapore, Shanghai or Hong Kong.

The winter program is rounded off with voyages to the Canaries (with AIDAnova and AIDAmar) and to the cultural treasures of Rome, Lisbon or Barcelona in the Mediterranean (AIDAstella and AIDAprima).
