LAM returns to Harare after an absence of over 3 years
To date, there are no regular flights between Mozambique and Zimbabwe. The two southern African countries share a large border.
LAM - Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique should fly to Zimbabwe again. According to the schedule available in the sales systems (GDS), the Mozambican national airline plans to resume regular flights to Harare from December 19. The carrier plans to connect the capitals of neighbouring countries three times a week, without competition, by Embraer ERJ145. Once operational, the national flagship will have 14 active destinations, including three regional routes such as Dar es Salaam in Tanzania and Johannesburg in South Africa. The other destinations are exclusively domestic routes with good occupancy rates. As a reminder, LAM suspended its services to Zimbabwe in March 2018. Until then, the Mozambican company offered regular services between Beira and Harare.
