Air Senegal increases its services to Libreville and Douala Air Senegal increases its services to Libreville and Douala

On 29 March 2021, Air Senegal launched its regular operations between Senegal, Benin, Cameroon and Gabon, with three weekly rotations. The Senegalese national flagship will increase this frequency in the coming days.

Air Senegal's Dakar - Cotonou - Douala - Libreville route will be increased from four to five weekly flights in the coming days. In addition to Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, the Senegalese national airline will operate an extra flight every Friday from 29 April to 28 October 2022. The corridor opened on 29 March 2021, and operated as a monopoly, will be operated by Airbus A319 and A321. "This measure is the result of the strong demand expressed by passengers on this strategic route of the airline's network. In addition to other days and flight times adapted to passengers' needs, this increase will boost the air bridge established by Air Senegal between West and Central Africa.

Above all, it will offer a choice of easy connections via Dakar to some twenty destinations in West Africa, Europe and the United States," the carrier explains.  Speaking of the United States, Air Senegal will also increase its route between Dakar, New York and Washington-Baltimore. From 13 June, the Senegalese flag carrier will increase the number of flights from two to three per week. "The affluence of bookings on this route has encouraged this decision which aims to satisfy the high demand," he said in a statement issued on 23 March.
