Kenya Airways extends codeshare agreement with Saudia Airlines
The two airlines, members of the SkyTeam alliance, have been code-sharing since April 2012 on the Nairobi-Jeddah corridor.
Kenya Airways has extended its codeshare agreement with Saudia Airlines. Under the extended agreement, both airlines will offer additional services from their respective hubs in Nairobi and Jeddah. Saudia Airlines can now code-share on Kenya Airways' flights to Mombasa, Entebbe, Dar es Salaam and Kigali. In the opposite direction, the Kenyan flag will issue tickets on flights operated by the Saudi carrier to Riyadh, Bahrain, Karachi and Kuwait. "The extension of the codeshare with Saudia will give our customers more choice and flexibility to travel this summer, especially for those travelling for the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage," said Julius Thairu, Kenya Airways' commercial and customer director. "The agreement is an opportunity for both airlines to work together to improve flight options and connectivity."
