MSC Cruises offering free drinks packages on select Durban itineraries
MSC Cruises has rolled out an early booking promotion for its 2022/23 cruise season out of Durban, with free drinks packages on offer for guests who book this week. For any guests who book before Friday, May 20th, they’ll get a drinks package free, as long as the booking is for a Bella Balcony cabin or above.
“Whether you’re in the mood for a fresh beer, a cocktail on the deck or some exotic juice, this new offer has been packaged just for you to enhance your cruise experience,” says MSC Cruises.
The drinks promotion is among a range of offers being rolled out by MSC Cruises for the new summer cruise season out of South Africa later this year.
The cruise line is also offering is long-running kids cruise free promotion, in which up to two children under 18 years, sharing with two parents, get to cruise free, only paying mandatory port charges and taxes.
The drinks promotion also only applies to bookings made through the MSC Cruises South Africa call center (087 630 0333), and is valid only on MSC Orchestra’s itineraries out of Durban for the 2022/23 cruise season.
MSC Orchestra will be returning to South Africa in November, 2022, commencing a months-long cruise season out of Durban until March, 2023.
She’ll be offering a range of 2-, 3-, 4-, and 7-night itineraries to Pomene Bay, and Portuguese Island.
The 2-night cruises are nowhere itineraries, popular as short booze cruises, while the 3-night itineraries visit Portuguese Island, and the 4-nighters visit Pomene Bay. The longer 7-night itineraries feature both.
MSC Orchestra will also sail a grand New Year cruise of two weeks to Portuguese Island, Nosy Be, Port Victoria in the Seychelles, and Port Louis in Mauritius.
In a notable sign of the recovery of the South African cruise sector, MSC Cruises will also be sending MSC Sinfonia to South Africa, sailing a range of cruises out of Cape Town in December and January.
MSC Sinfonia will be cruising 2-, 3-, 4, 5- and 7-night cruises roundtrip from Cape Town to Walvis Bay and Luderitz in Namibia, as well as Mossel Bay in South Africa.
The 2-night itineraries are cruises to nowhere, as with MSC Orchestra’s booze cruises from Durban, the 3-night cruises visit Mossel Bay, the 4-night and 5-night cruises to go to Walvis Bay, while the weeklong cruises visit both ports in Namibia.
