Cape Verde: the Santo Antão airport construction project is progressing

Located in the northwest of the archipelago, Santo Antão is, like the other eight inhabited islands of Cape Verde, a tourist destination. Unfortunately, it does not currently have an airport, and remains connected to the other islands only by sea.
